Tig Micro-Welding
Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding is an arc welding process that uses a tungsten electrode and filler material to produce the weld. This welding process is used when weld strength is critical. It is also suited for precision components and assemblies.
MicroGroup designs fixturing in-house for each application which results in superior tolerancing and joint finishes. Walls as thin as .002″ can be welded but TIG is ideally suited for thicker walls. MicroGroup has also developed expertise in TIG fusion welding, which eliminates the use of unwanted filler materials.
